Gir

Originally inspired by the ancient architecture of wind towers, Giovanni has created a piece that can be an accessory or artefact whilst retaining the core identity of the hand fan. Through the lens of architecture and design the user can view a contemporary take of traditional middle eastern history. “Gir” is made to explore how paying homage to our roots is as important as looking forward, melding the two together into a new form.
